In Kirovograd we work with conditionally sentenced people (most of them got their sentence for crimes connected with drugs). Our main task is to help them with solving problems connected with absence of personal documents (such as passports), with searching for employment and various social and psychological problems.

We have three workers in Kirovograd who work directly in inspections (meetings with probation officers) and try to build bridges between clients and service providers by making partnership with service employment, hospitals and NGOs that provide harm reduction, substitution therapy and support for HIV-positive people Now we are also developing our work to give case managed support to:
1. People that are former drug users
2. People that just came from rehab. centers
3. People that are using drugs still.

So these are the main things we do in Kirovograd. With our help, clients can get help with employment, healthcare, HIV testing and treatment, help from peer-to-peer consultant, social worker, psychologist and lawyer. According to words of the head of inspections in Kirovograd - the rate of recidivism has halved since we started working there.
